How do I maintain a healthy PH and still have an active sex life?

I only have sex with one man. I wash myself regularly and wash my hands after using the bathroom. I also eat a lot of yogurt b/c I've heard that helps keep your ph balanced. But I continue getting bacterial infections, what else can I do as a preventive method? Could it be something that has to do with him?
I think you are totally missing the point of my question. I don't need to see a doctor b/c I don't currently have any problem. I just need some ways to maintain a healthy PH as a preventive, which is what my doctor told me to do. She said to eat yogurt; I already do that. I'm just asking for other ways.

Have you seen your GYN? Usually they give the best advise there is something men have that they transfer to women and it can reoccur if you both don't get antibiotics.
